The Great Outdoors

Hi crafters,
I managed to find some time to craft eventually this weekend although it's been quite a traumatic week!  My youngest has just left home to start University in Lincoln so I've not had much crafting time with getting everything ready for him!  Oh well, must think on the bright side - I'll soon have 2 craft rooms when my eldest goes back to Uni in a fortnight!  I'll need to craft permanently I think to keep my mind from worrying about them both!!

This week's fab challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been set by our lovely Lorraine C and she's chosen the nice, easy theme of The Great Outdoors',
We are kindly sponsored by Bugaboo and they are offering the lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  Their images are gorgeous and great to colour in!

We were lucky to have an image to play with and this one is called 'kidz Daisy'

The image is coloured in using my promarkers and I added a touch of glitter here and there!  I wanted the image to be the main focus of the card so I just cut some coordinating paper with my cloud border die.  I used some black card to make the colours pop and I used a diecut sentiment as well - for a change!  I almost added my usual flowers and ribbon but managed to stop myself!!  Had to have something in the corner though didn't I so I allowed myself some matching buttons!  I then walked away hee hee!!
So why not join in with this week's nice and easy challenge .  Don't forget that to be eligible for the prize draw, you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers etc) and of course, follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your creations and look forward to visiting your blogs!
Hugs, Karen xx

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Crafty Creations Challenge - Anything Goes
Creatalicious Challenges - Anything Goes (with optional leaves)
Crafting with an Attitude - Anything Goes

  1. Oh Karen, I feel for you! My youngest got married this weekend, and I can't quite find the balance between being overjoyed for them, and heartbroken over the loss of my baby in the house! Yes, crafting all the time sounds like the right medicine to me!!!

Wow! Your card is stunning! Your colouring is incredible! I LOVE the bright colours contrasting with the stark white, and the black really does its popping job! Just gorgeous!
